Gilbert Peacock is a Licensed Financial Professional working with a diverse client base. He works with the faith community, business owners and numerous trade and professional people. Gilbert has been an individual investor since 1975. He conducts training sessions with groups and individuals to educate and develop financial plans and insurance strategies.

He has strategic alliances with legal counselors and certified public accountants to assist clients with wills, trusts and estate planning. He is licensed to conduct business, and has clients in 15 states including.

Gilbert continues to build a repeat and referral customer base and has recruited a team of associate licensed financial collaborators to meet the needs of clients. His greatest satisfaction is providing products which guarantee that clients’ money is safe and protected from the downside of the market.

Dr. Barbara L. Peacock is the author of Soul Care in African American Practice. This book was rated #1 New Release with Amazon. She also wrote Psalm 119 Scriptural Journal and is leading author of C.A.L.L.E.D. To Teach (Commissioned As Leaders, Learners, Educators and Disciples). Dr. Peacock founded Barbara L. Peacock Ministries in 2013. Prior to launching this ministry, she served on staff as Minister of Discipleship and Prayer at The Park Church, Charlotte, NC for 14 years.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree from North Carolina Central University, Durham, NC; her Master of Arts Degree from Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey; and her Doctorate of Ministry degree from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, South Hamilton, MA. Her doctoral focus was Spiritual Formation for Ministry Leaders.

As a favorite way to be refreshed and restored, Dr. Peacock enjoys being with her family, traveling, reading, writing and gardening (plants).
Dr. Peacock has been married to her husband Gilbert, for 41 years. They are the owners of Freedom Financial Advantage, LLC, which provides services and strategies for financial success to numerous organizations, churches and individuals.

The Peacock’s daughter, Vernee, and her husband Michael are the parents of the Peacock’s precious grandchildren, Eden and Eliah.

Obi Anyafo has lived in the Charlotte/Pineville area for over 19 years. In this area and surrounding areas he has assisted clients for over 5 years with a “safe money” strategy. Obi started his career as an accountant with Hoechst Celanese Corporation in Bridgewater, New Jersey. He later joined Wachovia Retirement Services Group where he spent some time working with outside advisor’s/brokers. Mr. Anyafo specializes in a “safe money” strategy and income planning for clients. Obi graduated from Alabama A & M University in 1981. He received a Master’s degree from Texas Southern University in 1986. He also holds a CPA certificate in North Carolina.

Vicky Chapman has been living in the Charlotte area since 2008. She is a graduate of Roanoke College and Hollins University with a Master of Arts in Social Science and a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of Criminal Justice. Vicky has always had a passion for helping others and being a resource for those needing direction. She obtained her insurance license in 2018, as she recognized the importance of being proactive in protecting family and loved ones. Vicky is committed to serving the community in her role at Freedom Financial Advantage.

Tara is a corporate wellness / HR professional and registered dietitian with over 20 years of experience in nutrition counseling, health education and corporate wellness. She has a passion for empowering individuals to improve their health and well-being and supporting organizations in creating a culture of wellness.  She hopes to help people achieve financial well-being through her work as an insurance agent with Freedom Financial Advantage.

Tara earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology (cum laude) from North Carolina A & T State University and a Master of Public Health in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She has also completed a certificate program in Wellness Culture Coaching (Human Resources Institute) and is a licensed Life and Health insurance agent for the state of North Carolina.  She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., enjoys traveling, visual and performance arts, trying new recipes and spending time with family and friends.

Roslyn Das has been in Christian Leadership for 20 years and currently serves as the Co-Pastor of Revive Church in Charlotte, NC. She is a graduate of Hampton University and Southeastern University, and holds a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership, with experience in the private and public school sectors. She is a native New Yorker and enjoys spending time with her husband of 21 years and five children. Roslyn has a passion to see individuals experience financial freedom by practicing good stewardship and taking financial steps to secure a stable future.

Now retired from the corporate and non-profit sectors, Denise is committed to helping to close the wealth gap in America. Understanding that financial education and access to safe money strategies, will transform people’s lives, Denise seeks to help others build and sustain generational wealth with innovative life insurance, annuity and long term care products.   A native New Yorker, Denise attended Northwestern University in Evanston, IL and majored in Chemical Engineering. After living on both the East and West coasts, she and her family were led to relocate to Charlotte in 1997. She’s excited and humbled by the opportunity to collaborate with the professionals of Freedom Financial Advantage, to help you plan and protect your money.

Fontella Mckyer has more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience in the corporate and not-for-profit sectors and currently serves as the Director of Workforce Development for Dress for Success Charlotte.  She holds a bachelor of administration degree in accounting from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.

Faye Ralph is dedicated and committed to serving and assisting others. She has a sincere and personal method of communication and offers her best service to everyone she encounters. She is a licensed minister and volunteer chaplain at Novant Health Hospital. Faye was employed in management at AT&T for over 25 years. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our industry. Stewart E. Ralph attended Clemson University in South Carolina under a full scholarship. He then started his career with the U.S. Post Office where he worked for 34 years. He is a licensed minister at the Park Church. Minister Ralph has a dynamic personality and has formed strong relationships and believes that individuals make success possible. He has a great work ethic and believes in providing outstanding customer service. Stewart has been a licensed agent for several years and has a passion for assisting others. Stewart and his wife, Faye, live in the Matthews area of NC.

Gail Welch is a native of Charlotte, NC. She graduated from Winston-Salem State University in Business Administration/minor in Business Information System and hold a Master Degree in Business Management at Pfeiffer University. Gail was employed with General Electric for 19 years and Ingersoll Rand for 7 years in multiple roles as a Certified Six Sigma Blackbelt in Finance, IT Business Analyst and Project Management. Gail has a passion for process improvements and help others.

Vernon Willis is an exceptional manager of people and projects with a successful track record of improving processes and profits. He has developed his craft over the years in a number of geographical areas both in field and home office environments. Underwriting and management of the property and casualty lines of insurance are where his underlying technical skills reside. Leadership, coaching, team building, mentoring and organizational skills are his areas of strength. Vernon has a history of continuous improvement in the past and all those experiences are all transferable
